DJ Jump - Back To The Feat (Album)

DJ Jump - Back To The Feat (Album)

DJ Jump aka Giampaolo de Cesare is the guy behind the legendary italo2000-style project J-An Project and the track "Falling In Love". In more recent time he teamed up with Jenny Dee aka Gennaro De Stefano as the project J-Art, so he has been in the italian dance scene from the begining. Now he has gattered a bunch of other dance legends to do an album called "Back To The Feat" featuring in total 14 artists and producers!

There has not been any previews yet.. so we are looking forward to the previews, and the complete tracklist!

But, in the meantime you can follow the on going announcement of the album on DJ Jump's facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/DJ.JUMP.OFFICIAL/ where DJ Jump more or less daily announce a new artist.

It will officially be out from February the 1st on CD and in digital stores!

Don't expect much of italo. Mostly house me thinks... (Bang Record = house label)

True dat, true dat... but the amount of featuring italo-artists are insane! and for that reason alone it's great I think Laughing out loud

A few italo (like the one featuring Dj Maxwell Laughing out loud)

 

From the 30-second previews, the one featuring Kim Lukas sounds REALLY good, but of course they had to add that A-N-N-O-Y-I-N-G EDM sound/voice in it.

Apart from that doesn't sound bad at all this. Smile Definitely gonna buy the CD for sure.

 

btw, LOVE the idea with CD1 = radio edits, and CD2 = extended versions.

I think it's quite an impressive album given the adctual market. It's being released on a major label (Sony) through DJ Ross' Bang Records and with an actual 2CD physical release, so that's already something oustanding. Now I've heard the album on Spotify, and only the first 5/6 tracks aren't italo, the rest is. Granted, it's not pumping hard italo, but it still is, sometimes with a bit of a modern twist, but it's already much of a miracle that all these artists agreed to work together on old school sounds.... The production overall could be a bit better obviously, but fuck it, it's 2019 and we're getting an italo album with most of the big singers from back then, cheers to that !

It truely is an album-idea that someone only could dream about and they made it come true, big applause for that! Laughing out loud

Totally agree Luc! I'm also gonna get the CD.

I think it's surprisingly good (at least from hearing the previews) with only the first few tracks being a little dull. Waust is very picky in his italo-taste, good thing I'm here too otherwise it would only be 2004-italo on Italo Sound Radio Grin Wink

Just crossing fingers now that DJ Jump will post the acapellas so we can have some remixes!
