That is totally nonsense! - Lento Violento is the style of gigi and his gang (including maxwell) and actually is it dance.. and it really can't come as an surprice that maxwell makes lento violento.

but really.. the genre who is destroying italodance is house/elektro house. Just see the M2o compilations.. see the artists who left italodance.. - do thay make lento violento now? - no they make commercial house music. Lento Violento is an even more underground genre than Italodance - actually i would call Lento Violento a slower sub-genre to italodance.. - if you listen careful you will hear that lento violento really just is a slower and sometimes (especially with gigi's productions) even more melodic version of italodance.

your "shit" style is here to stay Wink (just see how many listeners there are at gigi's il cammino show. - 80 % of the tracks there are Lento style)

I admit i like the faster type of italo better than lento violento, but there are definetely lots of great lento violento songs out there, so i must agree with Janik, just can't follow you Sammy..

Anyway this album looks AMAZING! - simply a must have!

Sammy no offence but the genre defined as "italo dance" or "NuItalo" was not really known in 1998 it had its beginning around 1999. "Eiffel 65 - Blue" sounds more like eurodance than italo dance for instance, so if you prefer the italian dj-style from 1998 you must like the eurodance style better than the actual italo dance style, which also explains why you dont like Lento Violento which really just is a slower version of italo dance..

Do NOT say that lento violento is equal to electro or house cause it is DEFINETELY NOT! The lento violento style is very equal to italo dance, just a bit slower. If you can't hear the difference go get a hearing aid.

Giving the artists our money wont make the genre more popular.. what a stupid idea... it will just make the artists richer Puzzled

DJ Maxwell has confirmed that his work on this album is done and all that's missing is mastering and distribution so it will be out in a couple of weeks hopefully.

You have to know that italodance isn't dying because Heroes has passed to Elektro House (Like Molella, djRoss, PDJ, M2O and much more...) but because that was influenced by fashion and you know... If a kind of music go into a fashion, after 5 years or so it goes under...
I prefer very much Lento Violento rather than Elektro House. But Lento Violento isn't destroyng italodance scene. Why you thing this? Only because GG D'AG, a famous artist of Italodance, is passed to Lento and has trascined with him DJ Maxwell and many others? So now also Hands Up is a "shitty" genre because DJ Lhasa (n.k.a. MA.BRA) is passed to Hands-Up?

PS: For some lovers of Lento... If you're an artist check out MOViMENTOLENTO!

A lot of the artists change slightly I guess.

I used to like Gigi, but I hate the Lento stuff he does now.

Provenzano when he used to make songs like 'Vagabondo', 'Sono Io La Morte' and 'Una Favola Che Vivra' was great then, and I still listen to those songs now. But after those, I don't like his other stuff as much.

Same with Danijay, I think when he first started to produce, 'Happiness' and songs from his first album we're better than his newer songs.

Eventually I have to look towards new artists that make songs I like, recently, DJ Sanny, Tobix, DJ Son1c, DJ Zulan etc.

Maybe... but I thing the better of an artist is when creates music with his style... and not music with similiar style to another artist...
