Interview with Fabrizio E Marco - 25th March 2007

IDP: Hello Fabrizio and Macro! For those who don't know you, can you tell us about yourself, please?

Fabrizio E Marco: Fabrizio (DJ, 31) e Marco (Vocals, 27) is a new Dance Project located in Vienna, Austria. We do a lot of Remixes and we also produce our own songs like “Call it Love” and “You Are”. We both live in Vienna and we are producing together for about 3 years now.

IDP: What music styles are you listening to other than what you produce?

Fabrizio E Marco: We both listen to many kinds of music…from Pop to Dance. Marco: I am very into A Cappella Groups like “Ball in the House”, “Rockapella” and “The Blenders” from the USA. Our favourite Dj’s are Dj Cerla, Gabry Ponte, Rob Mayth, Clubraiders, Andy Garcia, Max Deejay…

IDP: Who is/are your favourite artist(s)?

Fabrizio E Marco: There are too many…

IDP: What do you like to do on your spare time?

Fabrizio E Marco: We’re producing music…and sometimes we go to the cinema or in a club. Stuff like that.

IDP: Your upcoming single "Call it love", when will it be ready and available at the (online) stores?

Fabrizio E Marco: We think that Call it love will be available in April. There is no exact release date yet.

IDP: What do you think about the future of Italo Dance music?

Fabrizio E Marco: We don’t think that Dance Music is going trought a bad time…and we don’t think that Italo Dance Music is dead. NO WAY! There will always be different kind of Styles…for now, House and Hands Up is dominating the Clubs. Let’s see what the Future will bring.
